In einem Forum war heute der Hinweis auf Yoko Ono's 75. Geburtstag. Ein Grund für mich, mal bei YouTube zu forschen. Spannenderweise bin ich auf ein Projekt von ihr gestoßen: Sie hat aufgrund einer Idee von John Lennon ein "Imagine Peace Tower" in Island bauen lassen.
In dem Film sagt sie u.a.
"Having the lighttower there, its really good for the whole world in the way. The light is glancing spiritually and mentaly and physically.
If you can't go there, just think about the fact, that it's there. just about that it's there and you know it, its going unit and connect all of us".
Frei übersetzt:
"Diesen Lichtturm dort zu haben, ist wahrhaft gut für die ganze Welt. Das Licht leuchtet spirituell, mental und physisch. Wenn Du nicht dorthin gehen kannst, denke einfach daran, dass es da ist. Es verbindet und vereint und alle".
Eine wundervolle Idee!
Zu ihrem Geburtstag hat sie einige Gedanken auf ihrer Seite veröffentlicht. Besonders schön finde ich den Absatz
